Our School Day
8.45am
The gates on Ryall Avenue and Mayflower Avenue are opened for parents and carers with their children every morning.
The children can come straight into school via their entrances (see below).
Members of the Senior Leadership team will be outside on duty as a point of contact for parents and carers and to greet students.
8.55am
All children should be in class getting ready to begin the school day.
9am
The compulsary school day begins and students must be in class.
The Ryall Avenue and Mayflower Avenue Gates are closed and Senior Leadership will no longer be available outside.
3.25pm
The gates on Ryall Avenue and Mayflower Avenue are opened to parents and carers.
3.30pm
The compulsary day ends and students can be collected from their pick up points (see below).
Our compulsary school day is 9am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday; a total of 32.5 hours
Student Entrances and Pick Up Points
Nursery, Reception and Year 1
Children in Nursery, Reception and Year 1 enter via their classroom doors in the morning and will be picked back up at the end of the day at the same place.
Year 2
Children in Year 2 enter via the Infant Playground Door where a member of staff will be on duty. Year 2 students will also be picked up at the same place at the end of the day.
Year 6, Year 5, Year 4 and Year 3 (KS2)
Children in KS2 enter via the main school entrance and will also be picked up at the same place at the end of the day.
Arriving after 9am
Parents and Carers enter the site via the main car park gate. Children must be escorted through the cark park to the school office where they will be registered and a school meal can be ordered. After 9am children must be dropped off at the school office only as other entrances will be closed.
Absences
Parents and Carers must contact the school by 9am to report a childs absence. Absences can be reported via the school app or by phoning school on 0161 921 1890.
